The T15 low-profile locking screw is the fixation element of the ALPS anatomic plate system: a three-point-five-millimetre locking screw with a star-drive head engineered to seat flush in the plate, keeping hardware prominence down where plates run close under the skin. The ALPS plates go where soft tissue is unforgiving: the dorsum of the foot, the medial border of the midfoot, the subcutaneous ridges of the elbow. In those corridors a screw head that stands proud of the plate is felt by the patient at every step and every bend. The low-profile head exists to make the hardware disappear into the plate surface.
The T15 star drive is what makes a small flush head practical: it carries insertion torque without cam-out, so the screw locks squarely despite the reduced head volume. The range also includes multi-directional versions for fragments that sit off the standard trajectories. Screw selection and configuration remain decisions of the operating surgeon.
